No access to the top floor

God’s Will is above intellect and emotions, it is the highest sphere through which we have no access card.

Too much credit is given to man’s ability to achieve… the idea that anyone can be Bill Gates, Michael Jackson or Barrack Obama … the heroes of our modern times … is ultimately false.

Sure they have something in common – our heroes work hard, they practise their craft (at least 10 years according to some) and they do have some inborn talent (father’s gift) BUT the one ingredient which made them successes of our times cannot be obtained by all.

And this is opportunity.

Things happen for a reason. Even those with opportunities have wasted it. Who knows how God chooses some men to succeed at what they do, others to fail.

Ambition is a good thing. It keeps us striving to serve others. Whatever happens to us, whether we get to serve or not, we just have to play along, accept that it’s God’s Will and draw from Him the power to overcome and triumphant because if God puts blocks or opportunities before us, he does it for a reason.

Like I said, we have no access card. No explanations.We will never know why. Just accept it.

Ultimately, we have no choice over how our work turns out. Don’t worry about it. Listen to career counsellors, some wise advice but don’t follow everything. They don’t apply to you. Your Life’s path is not something someone else can solve for you either.

Only God, residing on the top floor, has the power to set it.

Whatever happens … Accept it, thank God and ask for God’s grace to live through it faithfully. And occasionally, check if it is His will or our own undoing. That is about all we can do.

Now go… enjoy life.
