a note about the soul
Soul is more than what lets us appreciate music, movies or art.
A soul is what drives us to create and gives us a mission and makes us want to go on living.
Life is sometimes devalued and many in the world today — especially industrialized countries and modern cities — think that our purpose in life is just to FILL TIME with something to do. The majority becomes like that because of their degrading job and the capitalist class which only rewards unsatisfying and “dirty” work.
When we fail to listen to our souls and this creates an uneasiness, a insecurity that something is wrong and we fear the future but we often don’t know what to do about it.
Mid life crisis is a warning sign and some of us heed it and others do not. It is the soul telling us that we are failing in our mission in life.
And what is our mission?
IT is not as we have been taught from young to invent something, to do something great, to be someone special or to achieve anything outstanding. These are all dictates of a capitalist society which seeks to exploit the human potential for profit. Capitalist hope that we can all be overachievers so that profits will multiply.
Is that what we should hope for ourselves? What does your SOUL tell you?
I believe our mission, if we heed our soul’s call, is simply to get back in touch with GOD, ALLAH, UNIVERSAL MOJO, THE SOURCE — whatever you believe created and runs the world. Personally, my Lord is Jesus the saviour of the world. Humans are made to love, be kind, be passionate, be generous and be sharing and care.
We are drawn to one another and we are also drawn to nature (mother earth) in which we share an unbreakable bond.
It is when we are blocked from doing any of this things and that our bonds to each other or our bonds to nature are inhibited, broken or separated — that’s when we most often feel that VOID in our heart and mind, that something is not right. This is because we are going against the nature of our soul.
It is only when we draw closer to GOD, find love and share with other humans, and appreciate nature — that’s when we can be peaceful and happy.
Mother Teresa, adored the world over, says our only vocation is TO LOVE.
Peace and happiness are the fruits that come from chasing a mission that our soul has set for us.
It comes from trying to be an ideal as close to Godliness as possible and not from achieving something tangible that we cannot take with us when we die.
And yet that is what most of us chase with our lives — hoping for a job that can lead to wealth, sex, and status and power.
We accumulate material and wealth because we think it will make us happy. Instead, the more we have, the more we want, the more insecure we become and wealth actually shuts us out from the possibility of Love and happiness sometimes.
Money requires us to ignore our true soul calling.
Don’t chase money. Chase enlightenment for your soul instead and if money follows, then good for you.
If it does not, too bad. You were not meant to be rich, so be it.

On the dangers of GENETICS research
GENETICS opens the door to something so dangerous because we as a human race are not ready for it yet, I feel.
GENETICS puts control of nature in our own hand and threatens to draw us further away from GOD, the source of food for the soul.
Instead of pursuing peace and happiness through being a soulful person, we are pulled towards trying to perfect our physical imperfections instead.
It is another futile pursuit, like a dog chasing its own tail.
The danger of science is that it is a double-edged sword.
It can be used at opening new doors so that we can answer the questions about who we are and how we can be happier and more peaceful beings, and in that vein appreciate the genius of the original designer of man and nature, God.
Instead, it looks like we are about to abuse genetic and use it to redesign ourselves into some false ideal which is dictated by the capitalist class.
It will become a tool to be used to profit and to control the masses.
Men remaking men. In whose image, you must ask?
God does not make mistakes. He made us different but each one perfect in our own way.
We just have to learn to be. We don’t have to alter God’s design. To do so would mean that our human collective is moving to the edge of madness and a lot of unhappiness, chaos and war is going to result.
It is sad that after 150,000 years (or more?) , WE, homo sapiens are still not comfortable with ourselves and what we are.
It is sad that there are more unhappy people in the world, people who don’t know peace than there are happy, peaceful people.
And that is truly the GOD SHAPED HOLE.
